Googlebot is the name given to Google’s web spider. It is an indexing robot or crawler, which travels through the web to explore and index pages to add to Google’s search engine index. It crawls thousands and millions of websites and web pages taking months or days to fully index websites. It frequently indexes those websites or pages which change their content on a daily basis.
