Backlinks are important for SEO as Search Engines pay a lot of importance to links between different websites. Links are an important factor of search engine ranking algorithms as search engines consider links from a website to another site as votes to that site. The more votes a website or webpage has, the more popularity it gets on the search engines.

Links form the backbone of the web, and guide users from one webpage to the other. They are not only helpful in improving rankings on the search engines, but they also help to drive traffic to the linked pages.

When building incoming links to your website, make sure you give importance to the quality of those links. Poor quality links from FFA sites and pages can hurt a websites ranking in the SERPs.
